Job Description

The Manager, Commercial Credit Services manages a team of Credit and Collections professionals in an effort to efficiently collect on a receivables portfolio of $150M-$200M, while providing good customer service to sales and external customers.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage a team of Credit Analysts and Administrative staff
  • Oversee the teams collection activities and meeting KPI targets such as: DSO, DDSO, Bad Debt, total A/R, percent Current and percent over 30 past due
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
  • Design and implement processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables
  • Manage audit requirements internal and external
  • Formally present collection results to leadership
  • Update departmental policy and procedure documents


  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Requires at least 10 years collections experience with at least 5 years management experience
  • Has managed a team of 5 or more
  • Commercial lien experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to lead and direct others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other productivity software systems
    • Strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP, Getpaid, Great Plains, a plus
